Weight management company Jenny Craig has signed Kirstie Alley as the company's "star" client for 2005.

Alley, who's starring in her own reality TV series (Fat Actress on Showtime) in March, is appearing in Jenny Craig commercials since Jan. 10. (The official Jenny Craig website is a bit late: no Kristie Alley commercials are online).

But that's not the news. THE news is that, according to a press release from Jenny Craig, the actress will blog her progress on the company's website. When will this weekly blogging start? No idea...
