One woman, one voting station
Isabelle Hontebeyrie
From IOL, a story about democracy at its finest: "There's only one registered voter in the remote village of Miao... but Indian election workers insist they're going to keep the village's polling booth open all day long. After all, that's the law. Manjulikh Chakma, a 26-year-old tribal woman, is the only registered voter in Miao, a village of 150 families in the northeastern state of Arunachal Pradesh, which holds state elections October 7."
