Founded in 1995,
Swedx started developing and manufacturing monitors embedded in natural solid wood in 2000.
Swedx now offers mice (wireless ones too) and keyboards and has widened the range of monitors offered to the public.
Engineers have also come up with what is called a "tilt mechanism" for monitors, which allow consumers to "get the desired angle. Just by dialing a knob at the base of the monitor it can safely adjust to a comfortable angle, reducing stress."
Swedx products are 100% recyclable and are ergonomically designed, to fit on the smallest desks while allowing users to rest their arms.
Price range is approximately 1500 $ for a monitor, 145 $ for a keyboard and 80 $ for a mouse.
The company has no distributor in North America... yet! Interested? :-)
